For further information or questions, please contact the Teaching Support Centre (CSE), the various UNIL departments or your faculty or school.
In addition to the support provided by the pedagogical engineer of your Faculty/School, you can contact the following support teams:
The evaluation of teaching by students is aimed at all members of the teaching staff. Teachers are responsible for the evaluation of all their teaching within a 3-year interval (in accordance with the specific provisions of each contract and faculty specifications).
The Teaching Support Centre (CSE) is the department of the Direction available to teaching staff to enhance teaching at UNIL (with the exception of teachers at the School of Medicine, who should contact the Medical Pedagogy Unit). It can help you think about how to design and run your teaching and assess your students' learning. The pedagogical engineer of the Faculties/Schools are also available to provide technical and pedagogical support.
Various training courses are available for UNIL teaching staff.

As part of the implementation of its digital strategy, UNIL provides you with digital tools to enhance your face-to-face or distance learning activities, advice on teaching using digital tools, specific software, etc. In addition, the CSE and the pedagogical engineer of the Faculties/Schools are at your disposal for any teaching questions relating to their use.
Classrooms are reserved by the faculties at the start of each semester. Some classrooms may also be booked on an ad hoc basis depending on availability. Pedagogical support for the use of Openboard and REC·UNIL tools can be requested from the CSE.
The auditoriums and some of the classrooms are equipped with the REC·UNIL system for capturing, recording and rebroadcasting lectures. Audiovisual equipment can also be borrowed on an individual basis from central services or from each faculty.
Those who wish to borrow audiovisual equipment from central services or from each faculty must be able to do so.
Those who wish to benefit from technical and pedagogical support to integrate video into their teaching scenario can contact the CSE.
Depending on their type of contract, UNIL lecturers are required to produce a tenure file or an activity report.
UNIL favours prevention rather than punishment, via a self-training scheme offered to members of its community and the provision of Compilatio software (integrated into the MoodleExam UNIL platform, or on request).
