Fréquence Banane is the UNIL/EPFL campus radio association, with a branch on the Geneva campus. Fréquence Banane is made up of a large number of members from all walks of life, most of whom are students, and its aim is to introduce those who wish to do so to the world of the media, particularly radio. As well as offering completely free training, leading to a diploma that is recognised by some of our colleagues in French-speaking Switzerland, Fréquence Banane also aims to inform and educate students about the world of radio;Fréquence Banane also aims to provide information about events on campus and in the surrounding area, and to offer entertaining, high-quality missions on a wide range of subjects.
Our missions and assignments
Every year at the start of the school year in September, open days are organised to visit the radio station, and sign up for training. Join us and be part of an extraordinary community adventure!

Founded in 1982,L’auditoire givesétudiants·e·s from UNIL and EPFL the opportunity to express a point of view and engageà aête investigative work every month of the academic year. Writing for us is a way of gaining an insight into the world of journalism, starting with the design of a print edition. More recently, we have been looking to broaden our activity by integrating digital tools, in order to stay as close as possible to current practices. The newspaper also aims to enrich its readership. It deals with themes left over from other media or approaches them from a different angle. In particular, we benefit from the in-depth knowledge of Lausanne's university teaching staff.
