The Service d’orientation et carrières (SOC) can welcome you for a discussion à various stages of your career :

• S’inform : What are the educational opportunitiesà l’UNIL ? How best to choose your studies? Which Master's degree should you choose after a Bachelor's degree? For anyone interested in studying at UNIL.
• Faire le point : How can you better manage your time and improve your working methods ? What can you do to overcome exam stress? How do you bounce back after dropping out or having a setback?
  For students·e·s at UNIL.
• Looking for a job : What do UNIL graduates do after their studies ? If you are studying at UNIL, you can also take advantage of personalised advice on writing a CV and covering letter, preparing for a job interview or looking for an internship. Forétudiants·e·s and gradué·e·s from UNIL.
• An urgent question ?If the appointments are busy over several days and you have an urgent question, contact us by e-mail (orientation@unil.ch).
  For anyone who is interested in studying at UNIL.

• For questions about your academic record (enrolment at UNIL, ex-matriculation, etc.), contact the Service des immatriculations et inscriptions. 
• For questions about your study plan, your status within the Facultécole, examinations, etc., please contact the Secrétariat des étudiants·e·s of your Faculté/École.

In what form ?

An appointment takes the form of a 20-minute interview with our advisors·ère·s, on Zoom. If necessary, you will be offered a follow-up to this initial interview.

Appointments take place by registration only. If you decide not to take part, please remember to sign up so that you can make room for someone else!
