The team of health and safety specialists in the SSTE Sector brings together a wide range of skills in related health and safety areas (toxicology, occupational hygiene, risk analysis, fire protection, etc.).
Occasionally, organised gangs visit our premises, day and night. These people are mainly looking for electronic equipment (computers, telephones, mobile phones, cameras, etc.) that can be quickly and easily resold. Cash is also often sought. It is advisable not to leave your wallet in plain sight. In the event of theft, beware of credit cards.
As a result, we have built up a solid, long-term relationship with our various partners: the Vaud cantonal police, the Lausanne municipal police and POLOUEST. We work in close collaboration with the inspectors from these various bodies.

We remind you that any theft of university equipment MUST be reported to the security service (25 80). UNIL will systematically lodge a complaint.

If you are the victim of a theft of private property, we ask you to make a PERSONAL complaint at the nearest police station and to report the theft, if possible with a copy of the complaint, to the UniSEP security service (unisep.centrale@unil.ch)
Every year, several demonstrations take place on campus. We participate in the development of security measures and are active in the field. We also work with the various security agencies to advise you.
On 1 April 2013, UniSEP took over the management of UNIL's car parks.
