This course is aimed at students who are interested in the creation, development and marketing of innovative products or services, in an established company or even a start-up.
Using different models and concrete examples, this course shows students how to create and develop an innovative opportunity, from understanding the customer, to the value proposition, to the business model, right through to the execution plan. Students will frequently be put into entrepreneurial situations, either as part of a team or individually. Teaching will be highly interactive. Creative thinking, commitment, curiosity and the active participation of students will be key to learning this module.
The unconventional course, in both French and English, will alternate between sharing experiences (Nadine Reichenthal has 20 years' professional experience in innovation and its implementation), case studies, “master” presentations, workshop work, external interviews and individual or group presentations to the rest of the class, who will offer a critical eye. The tools and models covered include : Value Proposition Design, Business Model Canvas, Design Thinking, Star Model (Galbraith), Doblin Model, pitches.
