UNIL publications

UNIL's publications are based on a certain number of key elements whose presence defines the identity of our institution, as well as the image we wish to convey.

The pictograms, small hand-drawn designs that complement each of the visuals, act as a true distinguishing mark of the Université de Lausanne. Through their abundance, they express the research and development of ideas, the complexity and natural diversity of our institution.

The cover photograph puts the human at the centre, with a focus on slices of life, warm portraits. In conjunction with the pictogram, it symbolises the necessary interaction between man and his environment.

The relationship between the photos and the drawings traces the process of passing on knowledge, the exchange between different scientific specialities. Nothing is fixed, everything is living matter.
