The Focus Group is a semi-structured interview that allows you to delve deeper into themes that are of particular interest to you, and to obtain a more complete, less directed view of teaching than that obtained using a questionnaire.
The Focus Group is carried out by 2 members of the CSE with 5 to 10 volunteers, following an interview grid drawn up in advance with you, during a session lasting around 1 hour. The CSE will then send you a summary report of the results.
This tool can be used in particular for Students' Evaluation of Teaching (SET) by following the procedure available at www.unil.ch/evaluation (with the exception of teaching at the School of Medicine, which is followed by UpMed).
A meeting with the CSE is necessary to finalise the interview grid. You will also need to bring together 5 to 10 volunteers.
Deadline: 1 week to organise the Focus Group and 2 weeks to write the report
