All that Swing is the Lindy Hop and Jazz dance association of EPFL and UNIL. Lindy Hop is an Afro-American dance form that originated in Harlem, New York, in the 1920s. Our association is run by the university community for the university community in order to create a vibrant atmosphere on campus.
We will actively cooperate with various Big Bands / Little Bands to create events with live Swinging music.
We see ourselves as heirs to this Afro-American art form and, with a sense of humility, curiosity and respect, we try to learn more and more about it, its roots and its artists. We do this through Jazz Movie Nights and the Jazz Book Club.
If you're new to Lausanne and can dance Lindy Hop or other swing dances, we'd love to hear from you. We're looking for new members to help us with our Swing dance teaching, events and social media activities. We're a super cool bunch of people, so give us a shout, pop along to our evenings, or drop us an email or via social media.
