This course is aimed at all students interested in the transition to industry of projects inherent in biology.
For example, to develop new antibodies against his cancer, or GPS collars for tracking ibex in the Alps, new bacteria for treating waste water, DNA chips for diabetes detection, botanical consultancy services, or any other biology-related project. The ex cathedra courses will present and discuss the issues and controversies surrounding life technology and entrepreneurship in the field of biology.
The course will feature five external guests from the fields of finance and/or the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, who will give thematic seminars. In addition to the ex cathedra lectures and seminars, students will be asked to develop their own business project, working in pairs.
