Computer security and digital law

Learning objectives:

  1. Know the basic concepts of computer security and the threats coming from the Internet.
  2. Knowing and how to use best practice to protect personal data and online accounts
  3. Know how to use secure password management services.
  4. Know and Be able to use the university's VPN service allowing you to work securely from the outside
  5. Know and How to use the university's Eduroam service enabling you to work securely from other universities
  6. Know the basic legal principles relating to the protection of (personal and sensitive) data

Environmental impacts of digital technology

Learning objectives:

  1. Understand the impact of digital technology on the environment, its positive and negative effects
  2. Questioning indicators, data, analysing trends and forming your own diagnosis
  3. Identify opportunities for action for a sustainable digital future, incorporating a reflection on indirect effects, the interplay of players and scales
  4. Taking a critical look at the place of digital technology in today's world and being able to understand the debates around these themes
  5. Increase awareness among your students or loved ones by using the resources in the Mooc or by identifying tools and partners to continue the debate
