Members of administrative and technical staff are entitled to financial support for continuing education opportunities abroad.
- The Swiss-European Mobility Programme (SEMP) allows you to take part in a training course in a European institution or business, whether it is a UNIL partner or not.
- CIVIS mobility and career development programme to share experience and teaching and technical skills with international peers
- The Global Learning Exchange Programme (GLE) is organised jointly with Lancaster University and provides exchange opportunities for administrative and technical staff.
UNIL offers a travel insurance for its staff travelling abroad for professional reasons.
Travel insurance and medical, security and logistical assistance
To ensure that its employees can travel with complete peace of mind, UNIL offers business travel insurance.
Teachers
The International Relations Department (SRI) offers administrative and/or financial support to employees for the international activities mentioned below.
- A teaching period of a maximum of two weeks in a partner institution in Europe via a SEMP exchange agreement
- A teaching or research stay of a maximum of two weeks in a partner institution in the world via a bilateral exchange agreement
- A semester of teaching in Venice at the Venice International University
- A teaching period of up to 2 weeks at a CIVIS member institution
- Stay to network and develop new teaching initiatives within the framework of the CIVIS Alliance
- Joint projects with UNIL's privileged partners
- Signing of exchange agreements for the mobility of teachers, doctoral students, and students
- Organisation of a CIVIS meeting at UNIL
- Development of BIPs
- Development of diplomas in international partnership
- Movetia pilot projects
- Erasmus+ actions open to Switzerland
- Organisation of summer and winter schools
- Co-supervision of theses
- Hosting threatened foreign researchers via the Scholars at Risk network
- The Welcome Centre provides administrative support for visiting researchers (visas, accommodation, daily life in Lausanne, etc.).
- SEMP exchange agreements provide financial support for a teaching stay of up to two weeks at UNIL for a colleague from a European partner university.
- Bilateral exchange agreements provide financial support for a teaching or research stay of up to one week at UNIL for a colleague from a partner university.
