Access to the archives held by UNIRIS is free of charge. The fees charged are intended to cover part of the administrative costs and do not relate to re-use rights.
By default, UNIRIS applies a free-of-charge policy for the re-use of UNIL's public information.
The purchase of a reproduction gives a non-exclusive and free right of free re-use for commercial or non-commercial purposes, throughout the world and for an unlimited period, for images that are the property of UNIL. The images are provided under a Creative Commons licence (see the authorisation section). Any authorisation for commercial use must be requested from the rights holders if the image in question does not belong to UNIL.
UNIRIS staff only carry out research for administrative purposes. Research for scientific purposes is carried out directly by researchers.
All document reproduction orders must be placed using the attached order form.
By signing the form, the customer undertakes to comply with the terms of use, to quote the documents and their origin correctly and to pay the charges.
The reproduction of fragile or confidential documents may be refused.
The works owned by UNIL are licensed under a Creative Commons licence. The conditions of use are described on the page Authorisation to use information made available by UNIRIS.
