Social Innovation
Social innovation goes beyond the traditional domain of non-profit organizations and NGOs. In order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda set by the United Nations, the need for social innovation is more urgent than ever.
With the advent of for-profit social enterprises, BCorp certified companies and social entrepreneurship, interdisciplinary teams are working together today to meet societal and environmental challenges. In the same spirit, this interdisciplinary course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to reflect, identify and ultimately meet some of these challenges. Groups of 5 inter-faculty students will be created to bring different perspectives and skills to the case studies.
