Survey Graduates' careers

From UNIL to working life. Results of surveys of UNIL graduates from 2004 to 2018

Data collected by the FSO used by UNIL

Every two years, each Swiss university provides the Federal Statistical Office with an exhaustive list of students who have obtained a degree (bachelor, master, licence, doctorate) during the previous calendar year. All of these new graduates form the basic universe of the federal survey on professional integration. This survey is carried out in two stages: graduates are interviewed for the first time one year after obtaining their degree, and then a second time five years after obtaining their degree (longitudinal survey). The results are coded and analysed by the FSO and are used in a variety of publications.

publications.

In order to carry out its own analyses, UNIL has agreed a contract with the SFSO allowing it to have access to the data from the survey; This contract has been renewed for a further three years. This contract has been renewed every year since 2007. UNIL has therefore had the opportunity to analyse the data for 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019. UNIL does not have the data from the longitudinal survey.
