Renewable energy
- Since 2009, UNIL has been consuming certified TÜV SÜD electricity from the Vaud region.
- L’UNIL possède a policy of self-consumption in terms of solar energy. It finances the installation of solar panels, the energy from which is used directly to power its own buildings.
- The two boilers supplying most of the buildings on the Dorigny campus will be replaced by heat pumps.
- As part of its site 2000 watts objectives, UNIL will use a minimum of 90% renewable energy for its heat production by 2027.
