The preliminary entrance examination covers the following disciplines:

The entry requirements are set out in the rules for the entrance examination to the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies, available on the Faculty's website.
In parallel with your registration with the UNIL Registration and Enrolment Service, it is imperative that you submit a registration file to the Faculty secretariat.
Deadlines
Your application must be handed in by the 4th week of the teaching period preceding the summer session during which you wish to sit the preliminary examination.
As a reminder, registration with the UNIL Registrar's Office must be completed by 30 April preceding the summer session during which you wish to sit the preliminary examination.

In accordance with Article 9 of the Directive 3.16 on Preliminary Entrance Examinations for University Baccalaureate Courses in UNIL Faculties, successful completion of the preliminary entrance examination entitles the candidate to admission to the faculty for 2 years from the autumn semester immediately following the examination session.
People who have passed the preliminary entrance examination for the Faculties of Arts, Social and Political Sciences, or Theology and Religious Studies have the option of changing to one of the other two faculties. Conditions: they must not have previously failed the preliminary examination of the faculty in question, must in principle have spent at least two semesters at the faculty for which the preliminary entrance examination was passed and must have obtained at least 30 ECTS credits.
