Foundation for UNIL

Promoting scientific research and the dissemination of its results, as well as the next generation of academics, by providing support, encouraging young people to attend conferences, promoting the organisation of symposia, etc.

Sophie Afenduli Foundation

Funds scholarships for Greek students and researchers wishing to study or conduct research in Switzerland, as well as for their Swiss peers in a field of interest to Greece.

Agassiz Foundation

Supports university studies in the Canton of Vaud by funding laboratory equipment, fieldwork costs, participation at conferences and other costs related to the natural sciences.

Chuard-Schmidt Foundation

Supports UNIL professors and lecturers in special research projects and contributes financially to their publications.

Erna Hamburger Foundation

Direct or indirect practical assistance to women who are university graduates or have completed other higher education courses of a similar level and who are doing postgraduate studies in the Canton of Vaud.

Le Foyer universitaire Foundation

Contributes to the quality of life of UNIL students, particularly in terms of accommodation. Supports projects aimed at encouraging cultural exchanges between students at the University of Lausanne.

Herbette Foundation

Invitations to scientists and organisation of events and activities to popularise science, academic leave, continuing education for teachers, research projects, purchase of equipment, etc. in the field of natural sciences.

Théodore Lagonico Foundation

Allocation of grants to contribute to the costs of postgraduate studies or research for doctoral students of Greek nationality wishing to study in Switzerland, at the University of Lausanne.

van Walsem Foundation

Promotes academic culture at UNIL in the broadest sense, in the fields of law, economics, literature, philosophy and theology, with priority given to law and economics.

Zerilli-Marimò Foundation

Support for students enrolled at UNIL, as well as young researchers attached to the University who are active in the field of Italian language and civilisation in the broadest sense, from its origins to the present day.

Teaching Fund (FIP)

Supports and encourages members of the teaching staff who wish to experiment with, design and implement new practices, teaching tools and/or new teaching and learning methods.

Publications fund

Promotes the publication of scientific papers (hard copy or digital) edited under the auspices or with the support of UNIL, in the form of subsidies (publication grants).
