Twice a week, the chaplaincy offers you a guided meditation session.
If you can breathe, you can meditate
We draw our inspiration from mindfulness meditation. To begin the session, we offer a few minutes of reconnection with the body and the breath, through breathing exercises and mindfulness. Then we read a short text or give explanations related to the meditation. Finally, we meditate in silence for about twenty minutes.
No registration required. Sessions reserved for members of the UNIL-EPFL community.
Come and sit down, away from the hustle and bustle, and reconnect with yourself.
Come and take the time to close your eyes and appreciate the only moment we have: the present moment.
The guided meditation sessions are designed to be humanistic, i.e. open to the whole university community, regardless of the participants' spiritual tradition. For 10-15′, indications are given (in French and English) and then for the remaining 15-20′, there is complete silence.
