The Green Road refers to Open Access publishing by depositing a version of the manuscript in Serval and opening it after an embargo period.
In order to enable them to fulfil their OA mandates, UNIL offers their researchers its institutional repository, Serval, to self-archive and follow the Green Road.
UNIL researchers can request funding for Green OA for books through the Fonds de publications UNIL.
This new license with De Gruyter Journals, valid from 01.01.2020, allows the immediate deposit and sharing (without embargo) in SERVAL of the published version of the manuscript (accepted and formatted by the publisher). Here is the list of journals that are included in this license.
SAGE allows you to deposit in SERVAL and share the accepted version (postprint, after peer-review and before typesetting by the editor) of your manuscript as soon as it is published (without embargo), if you decide to follow the green path.
