Important dates

• Language Center courses begin one week after UNIL courses.
• Our teachers will assess your level according to the information you provide when you sign-up online.
• As the level and the timetabling of each module is based on the inscriptions we receive, you will not necessarily be placed in a group.

During the intersemester period there are:

• intensive Integrated Skills modules
  • Winter: 1 week, 6 periods per day
  • Summer: 2 weeks, 4 periods per day
• Specific skills modules (of various lengths)

As the level and the timetabling of each module is based on the registrations we receive, you will not necessarily be placed in a group.

A few days after the inscription deadline you will receive a message (UNIL email) notifying you that:

• You have been placed in a group. If you need to pay for the module, you will also receive the bill.
• Your inscription is cancelled, as there are no groups which correspond to your level.
• Should there be too many inscriptions for a group: the Centre de langues may contact those who have not been placed in the group by email if a place becomes available.
