Mourning 'Croque' : sharing experiences of death over a 'little croque'

It's been a few weeks or months since you lost a loved one, your father, your mother, a companion, someone you loved. You had to take on the practical organisation of everything that needed to be done in the circumstances: meeting the deceased, organising a memorial service, religious or secular, going through the deceased's belongings to find out what he or she would have wanted. Or you have to accept that there was no ceremony at all. Whatever your experience, it has left its mark.

Since then, you have experienced the absence of the other, while everyday life has taken over. Other people's attention waned, and silence fell around you, a silence that sharpened the lonely memory of the other. You don't dare talk about it any more, because everything is back to normal, except for you…

The path of mourning is a process that is different for everyone·e, but there are its similarities. Wherever you are on your bereavement journey, you are welcome to talk and share your experiences with others who have been through a similar experience in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
