Educational support and advice

Individual advice is a pedagogical consultation service available upon request to teachers and teaching assistants on an ad hoc basis or as part of a process. It is strictly confidential. Appointments can be arranged at the Dorigny campus or via Zoom by contacting: cse@unil.ch

Individual teaching advice can help you gain a deeper understanding of what happens in your teaching, or improve some of your specific teaching skills. It can complement the CSE's training activities or follow an evaluation of your teaching, helping you to adapt to your specific needs or the needs of your assistant(s).

For example, the advice may relate to:

• the pedagogical design and planning of a course;
• feedback on a course document;
• feedback on the results of an EEE (Students' Evaluation of Teaching);
• the design of a course and interaction with students;
• the integration of digital technology in (your) teaching.

Team counselling is offered to a group of teachers or a group consisting of teachers and assistants  who would like to work on common teaching methods, for example. By "team" we mean any group of teachers and/or assistants. It is strictly confidential.

 For example, the advice may relate to:

• the coherence of a curriculum;
• coordination/collaboration within a teaching team;
• interdisciplinary work on common teaching methods.
