The UNIL Equality Office is offering the children of UNIL and EPFL employees and students 11 weeks of holiday activities on the two campuses, for children aged 4 to 12. These weeks are organised in collaboration with various partners (in particular the EPFL and L'éprouvette, the University's public laboratory).
The weeks are divided as follows:
If you work or study at UNIL or EPFL and your children are between 9 and 12 years old, you can enroll them in one of the two summer activity weeks organized in July at UNIL by the Equal Opportunities Office in collaboration with L’éprouvette, the Science and Society Laboratory at UNIL.
The cost for the week (including lunch, activities, materials, and transportation) is CHF 350.-.
If needed, a one-third discount may be granted for UNIL student parents, subject to conditions.
The 2024 holiday activities will take place during the following weeks: July 10 to 14 and July 17 to 21.
Typical Day Schedule
The EPFL Equality Office also organises holiday activities for children aged 4 to 9, from UNIL and EPFL parents, during all school holidays except Christmas.
L'éprouvette, the Science and Society Laboratory at the University of Lausanne, offers fun and informative workshops throughout the year, including during the holidays.
You can book workshops for your family, bringing children, parents, godparents and grandparents together to discover the world around us through hands-on activities. Groups of 6 or more, children aged 9 and over.
During the February school holidays, the UNIL/EPFL Sports Service is organising a ski camp in Les Diablerets for children (aged 7-14) of members of the two higher education institutions.
During the summer school holidays, sports clubs in the Lausanne area and the Sports and Health Centre of the Sports Department are teaming up to offer children aged 8 to 12 5 days of covered sports, supervised by specialist coaches.more
Throughout the summer, the SPS organises science camps for 11-13 year olds.
