Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee
The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Commission is a forum for discussion and consultation on these issues at UNIL. It includes representatives from all faculties and bodies.
Missions
According to the Directive ‘Promotion of Equality at the University of Lausanne’, the Commission's mission is to:
- Participate in the design, development and implementation of a university policy on equality and non-discrimination, as well as in projects and activities that include issues such as the working and study environment.
- To make proposals to the Executive Board for the promotion of equality and non-discrimination.
- Acting as an intermediary between the faculties, the bodies represented on the committee and the University management in implementing the university's equality and non-discrimination policy.
- To work with the Equality Office to draw up and develop a university policy for the promotion of women professors and members of decision-making bodies (management, deanships, institutes).
