Teaching staff mobility
The International Relations Office can provide administrative and/or financial support to UNIL teaching staff for the international activities listed below.
In addition, UNIL offers a travel insurance for its staff travelling abroad for professional reasons.
- Teaching stay of max. 2 weeks in a partner institution in Europe via a SEMP exchange agreement
- A teaching or research stay of max. 2 weeks at a partner institution in the world via a bilateral exchange agreement
- Teaching stay of max. 2 weeks at a CIVIS member institution
- Stay to network and develop new teaching initiatives within the framework of the CIVIS Alliance
- A semester of teaching at Venice International University.
- Joint projects with UNIL privileged partners
- Development of diplomas in international partnership
- BIPs development
- Signature of exchange agreements for teaching staff, PhD and other student exchanges
- Pilot projects with Movetia
- Erasmus+ activities available in Switzerland
- Summer and winter schools
- Joint thesis supervision
- Support to foreign researchers under threat through the Scholars at Risk network.
- The Welcome Centre offers administrative support to welcome invited researchers (visa, accommodation, day-to-day life in Lausanne, etc.).
- Exchange agreements provide financial support for a teaching or research stay of one or two weeks for a colleague from a partner university.
