UNIL teaching staff
The International Relations Office can provide administrative and/or financial support to UNIL teaching staff for the international activities listed below.
In addition, UNIL offers travel insurance for its staff travelling abroad for work-related reasons.
- Teaching visit for a maximum of two weeks to a partner institution in Europe via a SEMP exchange agreement
- Teaching or research visit for a maximum of two weeks to a partner institution in another country via a bilateral exchange agreement
- Teaching visit for a maximum of two weeks to a CIVIS member institution
- Visit for networking and developing new teaching initiatives within the framework of the CIVIS Alliance
- A semester of teaching at Venice International University
- Joint projects with UNIL preferred partners
- Joint development of international qualifications
- Blended Inclusive Programme (BIP) development
- Signature of exchange agreements for teaching staff, PhD and other student exchanges
- Pilot projects with Movetia
- Erasmus+ activities available in Switzerland
- Summer and winter schools
- Joint thesis supervision
- Support for foreign researchers under threat through the Scholars at Risk network
- The Welcome Centre offers administrative support (visas, accommodation, day-to-day life in Lausanne, etc.) for welcoming invited researchers.
- Exchange agreements provide financial support for a teaching or research visit of one or two weeks for a colleague from a partner university.
