Learning outcomes

  • Interact in English with ease, developing a relationship based on trust on a physical, emotional and psychological level, through fun and laughter
  • Understand the plot of a play and recognize the main episodes and events
  • Act and/or improvise in a scene/a sketch
  • Creatively co-write a short play, using appropriate vocabulary and correct grammatical structures
  • Interprets texts verbally, using adequate pronunciation, stress patterns, intonation and rhythm, and non-verbally through gestures
  • Deal with basic intercultural differences through collaboration
  • Apply original and holistic learning strategies; reflect on the learning and creative proces

Methods

  • A benevolent, dynamic and collaborative environment in which the participants can build confidence and complete a project
  • Body and vocal warm-ups
  • Games to develop concentration, trust, improvisation and creative (co)writing
  • Texts, plays, scenes, sketches, poems of an appropriate level
  • Support and model for example with diction, pronunciation, stage presence and expression
