On 1 January 2019, the Policlinique médicale universitaire, the Institut universitaire de médecine sociale et préventive, the Institut universitaire romand de santé au travail and the association Promotion santé Vaud merged to become Unisanté.
On 1 January 2020, the Fondation vaudoise pour le dépistage du cancer also joined Unisanté.
