Administrative and technical staff (PAT)


 

The administrative and technical staff (PAT) of UNIL are responsible for the organisational running of UNIL.

Members of the IT, logistics, communications, human resources, finance, consultancy, laboratory and security departments work together to support and assist UNIL in fulfilling its missions in teaching, research and the sharing of knowledge with the general public.

Composed of some 2,39,000 people aged 15-65, the diversity of expertise and the coordination and collaboration of administrative and technical staff make it possible to ensure the continuity and success of the university; and success of UNIL over the long term, by relying on responsible, dynamic people who support the development of their skills anchored in a demanding and constantly evolving environment.

Working hours and holidays

The essential information and tools you need to organise and manage your working time.

  • The working time for a 100% is 41h30 per week.
  • Holiday entitlement is 5 weeks per calendar year. From the year of the 60th birthday and for apprentices, it is 6 weeks' holiday per calendar year.
