Privileged partnerships

UNIL's international strategy aims to establish privileged partnerships with a limited number of universities. These enhanced agreements will allow us to build close and ambitious collaborative relationships in teaching, research and governance. The relationship of trust established with these partners will create a framework conducive to the launching of innovative projects with a medium- and long-term outlook.

Objectives

By joining forces, UNIL and its privileged partners aim to go beyond conventional collaborative relationships and have therefore set themselves the following objectives:

  • Develop joint initiatives in education (summer schools; course modules, distance learning, etc.)
  • Strengthen collaborative relationships in research
  • Organise scientific events jointly (conferences, study days, doctoral seminars, etc.)
  • Strengthen their respective administrative skills by supporting staff mobility
  • Share best practices in governance

UNIL and its partners thus aim to initiate multilevel projects that will benefit the greatest number of players in the university community. The synergies thus developed will help to advance the internationalisation process of UNIL.

Privileged partners

UNIL has established close ties with the following universities:

If you work with one of these institutions, please inform the International Relations Office.

UNIL's intention is to enter into from five to seven agreements of this kind over a horizon of three years, while also continuing to develop collaborative relationships with other institutions.
